Since this is a new community, I thought I would start a discussion.

When did you first hear about iJustine and how has she influenced your online life?

She was a big inspiration. I always wanted to do something online and start something fun like a blog/website. I had just gotten my iPhone and was searching around online trying to figure out what apps I should download and I ran across her website. From then I was totally hooked! It gave me that last push I needed to get going on my own thing. You can check it out at www.chicblondegeek.com I also learned about twitter and a few other websites from her. So... thanks iJustine!!!

I got a friend request from her a couple years ago on MySpace. Any girl who loves Apple as much as I do is totally awesome!

I first found her somehow on justin.tv - I'm not really sure how that started? But I would pop in there and watch her - I don't know why, but it so fascinating to just watch someone live their life, somehow. And it was via jtv that I uncovered her blogs, videos, and now I follow her on twitter, her blog and posterous.

She got me on twitter and I casted on jtv for a while, and now I'm here. :)

LOL. The ban hammer. I was a mod there also and after the iPhone bill video went viral there were so many freaks in the chat that the hammer broke. :)

Yeah - the ban hammer was unfortunately incredibly necessary on jtv... from what I hear, it has really gone downhill. :\

I just admire someone who's brave enough to post themselves on YouTube or whatever and get themselves out there, especially as Justine is all about computing and technology which is supposed to be a 'mans world', so I have a lot of respect for her.
I'd love to be able to do the same thing but it looks like there's only room for one iJustine around here :)

The ban hammer was my favorite... I loved my ban hammer, I've had it bronzed and it's on my mantle...

I forgot to mention my first experience with Justine.

Back in June 2007 I was working at a software company when a coworker walked into my office and told me there was this video that I had to watch. I am always for a good clip to make me laugh. He explained it was some girl with a live webcam. First thought (knowing the guy) was that it was NSFW but he insisted it was.

I had never heard of JTV let alone iJustine prior and from the moment I logged in, I was hooked. The whole idea of a lifecast fascinated me. Sure part of the interest was in watching a cute blonde all day but since she was sitting in a coffee shop or in her apt editing vids all day, there was no real excitement. I figured this would be something that would go on for a week or two and she would lose interest. I didn't know this was going to be iJustine's springboard. I bought a domain name or three since I am a junkie for them and I threw together a quick blog about iJustine.

I loved to write but never had anything that excited me enough to write about. Justine changed all of that. Like a muse she did things that made me want to write about them. From her antics on the cam to her blog posts. iJustine spawned a whole series of events for me to grow creatively.

Sure, I have been influenced by Justine to signup for multiple social media sites, get an iPhone and even watch random shows like Arrested development but all in all, Justine got me to open my eyes to an entire subculture online that was was oblivious to.

Justine was just a girl on my monitor for the most part until I tracked her down one day in SF and got to meet her IRL. You never know how situations like that are going to turn out but she was so friendly and sincere that I was convinced Justine was someone I should keep an eye on. Thankfully, I already had the site and once she left JTV and started doing more and more projects, she has given me countless amounts of ideas to write about in her fan blog.

Justine, you're the best and I know all of your fans wish you all the success in the world. 5 years from now when you are a household name, I am going to tell people that I knew you would be a star.
